I know I say this every time I make cookies, but these really ARE the best cookies ever. Serious. Make them NOW.
The recipe is on the back of the Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips bag, but here it is anyway.
REESE’S Chewy Chocolate Cookies
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup HERSHEY’S Cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1-1/4 (2-1/2) sticks butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract (the real deal, please)
10-oz package REESE’S Peanut Butter Chips
You can sift the dry ingredients separately, but I don’t bother. Beat butter and sugar with mixer until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Gradually add dry ingredients, beating well. Stir in peanut butter chips.
Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. (Cookie Hint: Use a silpat mat. They rock.)
Bake 8 to 9 minutes at 350 degrees. (DO NOT OVERBAKE!) They will be puffed when you take them out, and they will flatten as they cool. This is okay. Cool slightly; move to wire rack to cool completely. The are best when cooled, but I bet you won’t be able to wait that long.
Aren’t these the cutest little cookie elves EV-AH?
Go ahead and make a batch, but be warned. You won’t be able to stop eating them.

I love the new design you did for Tina! It is really nice!
Those sound great!! Thank you for the recipe. I’ll be making them this week!!!
Oh my! I am definitely going to have to try these cookies! Chocolate and peanut butter together – the world is good.
Thanks so much for the nice email you sent me. I appreciated it so much. I haven’t had time to post again to my blog, but I have several things I feel led to write about and plan to update it this week.
I am totally lost when it comes to anything related to web design, and I would be totally delighted to get your prices for designing a blog for me.
Hugs,
Donna
Mmmm…those look good. I love the chocolate/PB combination.
Ha. I’m gonna need all my suitcase room for clothes and shoes!
mmm! I make these all the time!
Hey thayer (or Hi There with a southern accent.) The girls look so cute. I miss them already! Those cookies look good too!
We had a safe trip down and delicious meal of BBQ tonight for my dad’s birthday. The girls are enjoying the time with their 6 yr. old cousin! I went to Target and got a pair of those flowery flats! I am styling now!
Hope you all are doing well! Keep up the walking – especially after making those cookies. Take care.
Ok, missy, I expect these in Florida next month. You hear?
Steph
I LOVE THESE! They’re scrumptious! I’m definitely saving this recipe!
I’m sitting here wishing that my son was not allergic to peanut butter…sigh…
OOOO! I have all the ingredients, including the pb chips! Guess what I’ll be doing today!
Yes, yes, but HOW IS THE DOUGH? I guess I’ll have to try them and find out. Curse you, woman.
These are my fave and they usually don’t last long. They are dangerous, I will eat the whole batch in one sitting. I probably could if I tried. Yummmm..
