Y’all, this is a good one!! It’s hard to top Nintendo, but if anyone can do it, it’s Lands’ End. And once again, this giveaway will have two, count ‘em, TWO winners!! There is a girls’ swim package and a boys’ swim package, which is eerily appropriate, considering that in just a few short hours, I will be off to a week at the beach! Or "down the shore" as the Philadelphians say.

This is perfect! My husband took our sons to a swim party while I was away this weekend. He dressed our eldest in swim trunks with very tired elastic (I should have thrown them away), and my son had pants that were falling down the whole time. I was just saying that I would get him some swim trunks from Land’s End so that wouldn’t happen again!

We could be spokespeople for Lands End swim products. We order two tankinis and a swim shirt/rash guard every year for DD. They last through the summer, hold up well and do a great job of protecting her from the sun. This year, for some reason, I had ordered the suits but not the rash guard. I impulsively picked one off the rack at Target and my 8 year old daughter looked at me and said “Mom, you know it won’t last the summer like my Lands End ones.” Needless to say I logged on that afternoon and ordered her rash guard. Sign me up for the girls swimsuit package!

Land End products are wonderful and they last forever! I have passed down two Lands End jackets to younger sons and they still looked just as good as the day the older son got them. (Poor younger brothers always get the hand me downs!)

I tried very hard to raise my son not to have unreasonable gender biases. I tactfully discourage playing with Barbie houses but I never say things like “Yuk, that’s for girrrrls!” So imagine my dismay when his favorite color became BLUE. I’ve been pushing orange, yellow and green his whole little life.
Anyway. Turns out this little Boo is colorblind. The only colors he sees vividly is BLUE and yellow. So I see it’s not a gender thing but a vision thing.
