Good Saturday morning to ya! I’m recovering from a late night last night. Went to a holiday party with a lot of old friends I don’t see very often. Very fun.
Next week is my daughter’s birthday party. Thanks for all of your help! I have decided to do a pajama party (but send them all home before bedtime!) I’ll get a mom to paint fingernails, and they can bring sleeping bags and trash the basement while they watch a movie and munch on popcorn. I’ve bought some little mirrors and nail polish and lip balm and nail files for their goodie bags. Simple, cheap, and fun. (I hope!)
This afternoon I’m headed to a Christmas Tea for the women in our church, but before that I hope to peruse some of your blogs with my morning coffee. And without further ado, here are a few links for your reading enjoyment!

I’m glad the party was fun. The one we went to was the usual company Christmas party where I knew no one and everyone was talking shop. But I looked fabulous, if I do say so myself. The one redeeming thing was the chocolate fountain with delicious dippables. Ha–I just made up a word.
Keep looking for a sweater dress. I love mine–so comfortable but also chic.
Enjoy your morning-o-blogs&coffee. I’m doing the same, but with a Diet Coke. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
I saw some cute sweater dresses yesterday at Macy’s and Nordstrom in KOP hope that helps!
Mmmm…sorry to hear about the dress, but husbands usually know best. I’m sure you looked lovely anyway…
I just wandered onto your blog a couple of days ago and subscribed. It’s a fun read. I have to say I’m glad you sent the dress back… you could totally pull off a smaller size and bolder color! I’ve seen a bunch at H&M that are great and would look perfect. Good luck!
My hubby is also the same! he would select my dress all the time we go to parties or functions! He’s more of a dress designer to me LOL!
Great party choice, we have done that with both my daughters already, and that is what we are doing again this year. (Accept for the first time my eldest has 3 friends sleeping over until the morning – aarghh!)
The CLB had a pajama party for his last birthday. All the parents loved the idea (they were invited for drinks too) and they liked the time slot as well. I was surprised they weren’t’ in a hurry to get their kids home to bed.
So…what did you wear to the party?
Tracy – trouser jeans and a sweater I picked up last minute.
I’m so boring!
