If you need any last minute baking ideas, here is a little VLAWG of me making my peanut butter balls. I only made one batch this year, much to the distress of friends and family everywhere, but I made sure to capture the process on film. It’s a bit tedious, but not hard.
Peanut Butter Balls from Jo-Lynne on Vimeo.
Sheesh, would it hurt me to SMILE!? Any-WHO. Here’s the recipe. Enjoy!
Peanut Butter Balls
Mix the following and refrigerate for several hours or overnight:
1-1/2 cups peanut butter
1 box 10x sugar
2 sticks butter, room temperature
Melt together in a double boiler:
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 stick paraffin wax (This can be found in the canning section of the grocery store.)
Roll peanut butter mixture into 1-inch balls. Using toothpicks, dip balls into chocolate mixture and cool on wax paper. Refrigerate or freeze until ready to serve.

Those look delicious. Peanut butter and chocolate…my favorites! I think I need to check out Vimeo too because I like your vlogs better than mine and I’m a copy cat like that!! Have a great day!
Oh, you are stinkin’ cute. I saw some smiling! I have a recipe for PB balls but it’s WAY more complicated than yours. Time to throw that recipe out the door!
Love the vlogging! I don’t know if I’ll get up the guts to do that! How often does hubby mock you – honestly? Mine wouldn’t be able to keep the camera straight, he’d be cracking up at my expense – I KNOW it!
Merry Christmas to you too!
Cathy
Oh! and your kids are the cutest!
Cathy, he’s actually very supportive. He does all the editing. If he were laughing at me, I’d never be able to complete a video. I really hate myself on camera. But he prods me along.
Let me know if you try it, Jenny!
Aww Jo-Lynn, you’re so cute! And make it look so easy! Maybe I’ll be motivated to make those while we’re on vacation from school.
We made peanut butter candy today but not in balls…my neighbor makes those and calls them buckeyes! YUM YUM
Yummy!! Great video. Glad you shared your fabulous recipe.
I love those, but have never made them myself. I think I will try them tomorrow now that the house is clean! What a great tip, using the toothpicks. Thank you!
YUM!!!! My mom makes something similar, but I think she uses chunky peanut butter. We call them golf balls. Loved the VLAWG too!
Great video! Those look to die for! Chocolate and Peanut butter are my two loves. I can’t wait to make these!
The camera LOVES you! It was so neat to see you and hear your voice! I love the way you sound! How fun! And the recipe, yep, sounds delish! thanks!
these look so yummy and super fun to make with the kids. do you happen to know what the measurement would be for a box of 10x sugar? or how many ounces the box is? i have bulk everything in my kitchen!!! i would love to try to make these today since all the neighborhood kids are hanging out at our house for the day

I’m having my chocolate Friday and I remembered these beauties. If you have a chance, I would love for you to link up this post!
Thank you for linking it up! So yummy and just love that video!
Oh I love these!!! But I’ve never attempted them … the parafin wax kind of intimidates me:) But maybe after your video, I can give it a try!!
