The winning numbers are 9 and 86.  Congratulations, turtle and Darcie – Such The Spot!!!  I hope you love your Free AgentGo portable hard drives.

It seems like Valentines has become the next biggest gift-giving holiday after Christmas.  I know it’s a contrived Hallmark holiday, but I can’t bring myself to ignore it.  Perhaps it’s because it falls in the dead of winter when everything seems so dull and dreary.  There’s nothing like a bit of pink and red Valentine cheer to infiltrate the gloom and doom of winter!  And how about a GIVEAWAY!?  That should get this house a’rockin’!  Scroll down to the bottom and see how to win one of TWO SeaGate Go portable hard drives.

Here are some super fun ideas for the loved ones on your Valentines gift list!  I’m sorry this is so late.  I meant to wrap it up MUCH earlier than this!

image001The Remington PG-350, a 7-in-1 personal groomer, is a versatile, cordless groomer that makes it easy for busy guys to maintain their own facial hair – especially in-between visits to the salon or barber.  The rechargeable unit comes with self-sharpening titanium-coated blades for sharp, precise cuts. $19.99.

sweet-muse-valentines-day-gift-tin-resizedIf the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, I have several delicious ideas for you!  First, Sweet Muse offers a tin of a dozen fudge, heart-shaped brownies, individually wrapped with a quote about love inside, and tied with a beautiful red satin ribbon. $27.

41lbzuyk79l_aa280_And if healthy eating is more his style, how about a George Foreman 360 grill, in red of course!  With grills on both sides, it seals in juices, enhances flavor and retains nutrients.  A specially designed grease tray catches fats and oils, providing healthier meal solutions. The double-sided grill also allows for speedier cooking time – it cooking in about half the time.  This retails for $179.99 but it’s on sale right now at Amazon.com for $142.49 with free Super Saver Shipping!

For Pets

mainthumb_108200832051pmThese sweaters from Red Dog House $35-$45 are just too cute for words.  And online shoppers can use the discount code sweater09 to receive the buy one get one half off discount from Feb 13-15 at Red Dog House. If your furry friend is your Valentine this year, then pamper your pooch with a Chilly Dogwool hand-knit sweater.  Only in America…

For Anyone (Well, okay, so not for your pet…)

mhudi_pinotageWhat could be more appropriate for Valentine’s gift giving than a bottle of wine?  Seven Sister’s Bukettraube and M’Hudi Pinotage are two award-winning wines from Heritage Link Brands.  Both the Pinotage and Bukettraube are varietials typically used just in South Africa, with the latter having a sweet golden flavor and the former a rich, smoky taste — or so they told me.  I’m trying to finagle a product sample so I can bring you my first-hand opinion! :-)

seagate_fa_go_red_dockleftangleFinally, I included these in my holiday gift guide back in November, but the FreeAgent Go is now available in pink and red — perfect for Valentines gift giving.  My husband (the techie in the family) thinks these are awesome — it’s the thinnest hard drive, comes in a variety of colors, and includes a docking station to make it easy to update and organize your desktop while also being the perfect portable solution for taking your content wherever you go.  Not only can you give the gift of protecting content, but you can upload your special someone’s favorite pictures and music to the drive as part of the gift.

WIN IT: I get to give away a 320 GB FreeAgent Go in red* AND one in pink*!  Each is a $129.99 value.  This contest is available to U.S. residents.  I will randomly select 2 winners next Wednesday, February 11th.

Here are the rules for the contest:

1) REQUIRED: Leave a comment on this post telling me what products from this gift guide you are most excited about discovering.

2) OPTIONAL: Link to this contest on Twitter OR your blog OR email a few friends about it. Basically, spread the word in whatever way is most convenient for you.  Then come back here and leave a 2nd comment telling me which you did.

So basically you can get up to 2 entries, but only #1 is required.

*Red and pink are only availble for PC.  If you are a Mac user (like me!) and you win, you will receive silver.

18 Phyllis@Aimless Conversation February 4, 2009 at 3:34 am

The toffee looks good (I’m hungry.)
I love the pink car kit. I’m ALL about pink.
The jewelry is very pretty as well. A girl simply can not have too much jewelry. =)

19 Kim February 4, 2009 at 6:53 am

My husband could desperately use the Hand Salve. He’s got man hands LOL.
Great stuff on here. Good ideas.
Blessings,

21 Nikki February 4, 2009 at 7:22 am

I’m loving the FreeAgent. Never heard of it before – but is something my husband really needs. He’s been working on a research project and called twice last week at the crazy hour of 7:30AM (just as the kids and I are madly packing lunchboxes, backpacks and bookbags and trying to get out the door!) to ask me to email him something from his computer at home. Looks like the FreeAgent would make it easy for him to have everything on the go.

And the Jennifer Ladd bags are adorable!

22 Monica February 4, 2009 at 8:04 am

I saw the Chilly Jilly and laughed. That is SO perfect for me. I’m one of those people that is always cold- being able to pack it up in a nice small bag would be perfect!

23 Dana February 4, 2009 at 8:10 am

I love the wooden handle purses, and will have to check those out a bit more. And the Children’s Place PJs are cute. I’ll be on the lookout for a discounted set. Thanks!

24 jen@ourdailybigtop February 4, 2009 at 8:29 am

I love purses so Jennifer Ladd is a cool find. Also like the tough guy hand salve (can gals use it too?).

25 Kellyn February 4, 2009 at 8:35 am

I love the car kit, so practical but wonderful for any teenager. I wish they had this when I started driving, i wouldn’t have left those jumper cables in the garage…lol

26 Carolyn Gonzalez February 4, 2009 at 9:03 am

I never know what to get hubby but I love the The Remington PG-350, a 7-in-1 personal groomer. That is something he would love. And I adore the George Foreman 360 grill. I have a small one but this new 360 is awesome!

27 Lisa February 4, 2009 at 9:04 am

Oh my…I’m in awe over the wooden handle purse! LOVE these!

28 Krystyn February 4, 2009 at 9:50 am

I think the fruit roll ups are a really cute idea.

29 Amy February 4, 2009 at 10:02 am

I LOVE the Tassimo Hot Beverage System – I’ve been wanting to splurge on something like this for awhile. Coffee seems to becoming increasingly important around here!!

30 Tidymom February 4, 2009 at 10:47 am

Oh the Jennifer Ladd wooden handle purses are to die for!! I love me a ca-ute purse!!

~Tidymom

31 Stephanie February 4, 2009 at 10:49 am

I tweeted this contest too!!

~Tidymom

33 Susan February 4, 2009 at 10:57 am

Well, Dh may disagree, but I’m most excited about the hand balm. The man seriously has rough hands from the yardwork, etc.

34 windy February 4, 2009 at 11:38 am

I love, love, love the FreeAgent in RED!

35 windy February 4, 2009 at 11:39 am

37 olivegrl February 4, 2009 at 1:07 pm

Love to try the Tassimo Hot Beverage System. Looks like perfect pick me up in the morning.

38 Leslie M. February 4, 2009 at 1:24 pm

I’m the most excited about the Tassimo. I’m a coffee LOVER and I am always cold so I am always making coffee or tea, even in the middle of summer. ALL your stuff looks interesting to me though.

Awesome fruit roll ups. Wouldn’t they be cool favors for a wedding?

41 Susan @ 2KoP February 4, 2009 at 2:25 pm

I also loved Phil’s book and reviewed it on my blog (http://2kop.blogspot.com/2009/01/teacher-affects-eternity-he-can-never.html), but for my very own valentine’s gift, I love the Donna Bracelet.

42 Melissa February 4, 2009 at 3:49 pm

I really like the heart pewter earrings, very nice!

43 Allison @ Slice of Heaven February 4, 2009 at 4:41 pm

I love the chilly jilly and the cute book you recommended for teachers.

44 Allison @ Slice of Heaven February 4, 2009 at 4:43 pm

Just tweeted (which also links to Facebook) about the Gift Guide!

45 Carol @SheLives February 4, 2009 at 4:43 pm

I think the hand-painted kitchen tools are a great gift idea. And that Nicole Vasquez bracelet would totally feed my bracelet fettish.

The FreeAgent Go? I gotta have it! Definitely coveting it hard right now.

46 Michelle February 4, 2009 at 5:26 pm

Excited and coveting the red Tassimo Hot Beverage System by Bosch. I often crave just a cup for me and it’s not worth the effort to brew a whole pot of coffee. Not to mention hubby likes a different brand than I do and drinks far more. I’d love a single-cup system of my own and red goes with my kitchen. I’m emailing him the link with a Valentine’s Day hint.

47 Michelle February 4, 2009 at 5:27 pm
48 Tina February 4, 2009 at 5:40 pm

I love the hot beverage center! I emailed this two my friends!! Thank you! :)

49 Valerie M February 4, 2009 at 5:56 pm

Wow!!!!!! What fabulous stuff!!!
Love it all – the cute skull candy ear buds caught my eye!

50 Valerie M February 4, 2009 at 5:57 pm
51 April February 4, 2009 at 6:25 pm

I have four dogs that would look adorably cute in sweaters, they would hate me forever. So, I pick the silver bracelet with red beads.

52 Tina Burnett February 4, 2009 at 6:37 pm

The Sweet muse fudge. yum.

53 Dee February 4, 2009 at 6:41 pm

The Skullcandy Ink’d Earbud Headphones are too cute – definitely going to check those out!

54 kspin February 4, 2009 at 7:47 pm

56 Leticia- Tech Savvy Mama February 4, 2009 at 7:50 pm

I like the affordability of the Gibson Pewter jewelry and the Tech Savvy Mama in me loves the super cute Skullcandy Ink’d Earbuds. And of course I can use the FreeAgent Go! Too bad the red and pink are only for PCs but I’d definitely do silver if I won. Thanks!

57 Darla February 4, 2009 at 7:53 pm

Definitely sweaters for da dawg. CUTE!

58 Leticia- Tech Savvy Mama February 4, 2009 at 7:57 pm
59 jodifur February 4, 2009 at 7:58 pm

60 jodifur February 4, 2009 at 7:59 pm

And I tweeted it!

http://twitter.com/jodifur

61 Bethany February 4, 2009 at 8:16 pm

I hope someone gets ME the wooden handle purse. However, V-day is also my husband’s birthday, so I don’t get a Valentine’s gift!

If I win the contest, I will give him the hard drive–a perfect Valentines/birthday present. And I’ll buy myself the purse.

62 Jean D. February 4, 2009 at 8:16 pm

I love Bosch’s red “Tassimo Hot Beverage System.” I would LOVE a cup of coffee right now after dinner. But that’s the deal–one cup has to be my limit, or I won’t sleep. I SO covet this nifty-keeno red Tassimo.

I also covet the George Foreman 360 Grill. I have a little George Foreman grill, which is fine when I’m cooking for myself, but I’d get a lot of use out of a larger size. I’d like to cook ahead for myself, and cook for several people when the occasion arrives.

Thanks for a generous giveaway!

63 Jean D. February 4, 2009 at 8:18 pm
64 Katrina Kugel February 4, 2009 at 8:26 pm

The heart-shaped brownies look awesome. But maybe too yummy to give away?

65 Leane February 4, 2009 at 8:31 pm

The products I want to discover more about are the Remington PG-350(for my man), the George Forman 390 Grill (for the house), and the Skullcandy® INK’d® Earbud Headphones (for myself)…the baby doesn’t know any better yet so I’m not buying him a gift anyways……great review! I would love to get a 320 GB FreeAgent Go in red! I have concerns for our aging laptop and I would love nothing more than to back up our files…especially all of our pictures! Winning one of these is going to make the best Valentine’s gift for someone…..I’ll keep wishing and hoping.

66 Steph @ Red Clay Diaries February 4, 2009 at 8:36 pm

Actually, what I really am excited about is the portable hard drive. I’ve been in the market for one. :) And it’s so doggone CUTE!

67 andrea v February 4, 2009 at 8:37 pm

i love everything. If i had to pick i would love the Tassimo and the barefoot contessa book.

68 Holly P February 4, 2009 at 8:41 pm

Entry #1:

The tough hand guy stuff — not only is that a gift for my hubby, but actually it’s a gift for me, when I get my foot massage on Valentine’s day! :)

69 Holly P February 4, 2009 at 8:46 pm

Entry #2!

I blogged about your blog / giveaway :)

I emailed, (my few friends) and cc’ed you, to earn a second entry……thanks for such a great giveaway!

71 Emily Kay February 4, 2009 at 9:26 pm

I’d LOVE to win one of those hard drives! I need something to start storing videos of my kiddos on and this would be perfect because I could take it to my family’s house and show them off! :) Oh, and the girly car kit CRACKED me up…I know several girls I should buy that for. :)

72 Leigh Ann February 4, 2009 at 9:54 pm

Chilly Jilly for me, please!!!!

73 Laptop Television Mom February 5, 2009 at 12:25 am

Oh my – what a great selection! I love the Jennifer Ladd purse, Paper Shouts Valentines, the fudge and the wine. My husband would love the personal groomer since I made him grow a goatee last year!

- LTV Mom

74 Brittany February 5, 2009 at 2:48 am

I love the designs on Paper Shouts…and I love the look of the FreeAgent Go. :)

75 aimee February 5, 2009 at 8:48 am

I love that Chilly Jilly! The funny thing is I have a friend Jill who is always cold–this would be PERFECT for her!

76 Jen February 5, 2009 at 9:20 am

The Nicole Vasquez Bracelet, of course!

77 Mrs. H February 5, 2009 at 9:21 am

I would upgrade my “George.” This grill looks great. Mine is about 10 yrs old, lol. I like the removable, optional plates!

78 lindsay February 5, 2009 at 12:04 pm

I loooove the Skullcandy® INK’d® Earbud Headphones! I am not the feisty teenager I once was, but I go to the gym and travel a lot (for work and for play!), so I have those little buds plugged into my ears almost every day!

Skullcandy ear buds are the most comfortable I’ve found and I love them, but this cute design is to die for! I might have to go pick up a new pair! Thanks for sharing.

79 Lindsay February 5, 2009 at 12:08 pm

By the way, I just shared the contest link with my two twitter accounts (@lthomson, @eweddinginvite) and sent an email to my “The Greatest Women Alive!” list.

Should get the word out! ;)

80 martha turpin February 5, 2009 at 12:14 pm

The Chilly Jilly for sure!! I live in the South and it always so cold in restaurants and movie theaters. Perfect size to keep in my purse.

MT

81 Laura February 5, 2009 at 1:32 pm

The Chilly Jilly looks like something I’m going to have to find…and those brownies…oh my gosh, I think I may get those for the hubby…too bad he doesn’t like sweets! I’d never be one to waste food, so I’ll just have to eat them for him :)

82 Andreah February 5, 2009 at 3:42 pm

The car safety kit looks great. I am always scared of car trouble when I am driving alone.

83 T with Honey February 5, 2009 at 4:01 pm

Believe it or not but I have always wanted something like the car safety kit for our vehicles. I’d love to have that pink on in the trunk of my car. Although with the way the odds work I bet the one time it will be used is when Honey is driving it all by himself.

84 Heather H. February 5, 2009 at 9:36 pm

I like the wooden handle purses.

85 Denise February 6, 2009 at 12:36 am

The Donna Bracelet is great & can go with dressy or casual wear. The other Nicole Vazquez jewelry is also worth checking–everyone should have at least one.

86 Darcie - Such The Spot February 6, 2009 at 8:34 pm

At first I’m drawn to the wooden handled purse. That pattern screams fun to me.

But then again, the Barefoot Contessa cookie mix is tempting.

Honestly though we’ve been in the market for an external hard drive. Don’t know if you saw my post from a few weeks ago when my computer gave the blue screen of death before promptly dumping EVERYTHING…but needless to say this snazzy lil’ number would come in mighty handy about now.

Great gift guide btw. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…you cost me way too much $$$!

87 Stimey February 6, 2009 at 10:20 pm

The Chilly Jilly is really cool. I’m always cold and end up wearing a sweatshirt a lot. This is a far more fashionable way to stay warm.

I also love the Phillip Done book.

88 Amy @ Cheeky Cocoa Beans February 7, 2009 at 12:21 am

I love the Chilly Jilly. Compact and wrinkle free? How cool is that?!

Yes, I am verrrrrry sorry. :)

Thanks so much for this giveaway!

89 Jessica P February 7, 2009 at 1:39 am

My favorite item is the wooden handle purse- too cute!

90 Mel @ A Box of Chocolates February 7, 2009 at 5:33 pm

Definitely gonna get hubby some of the tough guy cream cause his hands are awful in the winter. We’ve tried just about everything, but not that so we’ll give a try. I think the cake serving utensils are adorable and of course the jewelry! I have 32 third graders and a class bunny since well, you know, I teach 3rd grade. It was hilarious and oh so true. I could relate on so many levels. Thanks for sharing so many awesome ideas and hosting a Valentines giveaway too. Please consider me in!!

91 Jennifer Ladd February 7, 2009 at 10:22 pm

Hmm…. I definitely like the wooden handle purses (but I guess I’m a bit biased!).

I also like the pink car emergency kit. Since I have become a mom, I am so much more paranoid about safety. And this kit makes safety cute! A great idea!

I’m pretty much coveting the FreeAgent Go. So I’m pretty sure that God wants me to win it, so all the coveting will stop. And you can’t argue with God.

110 Dina February 10, 2009 at 3:12 pm

I am in love with every item in your selection but on top of my list is the Tassimo Hot Beverage System by Bosch. They make the greatest appliances, and this coffee maker is a work of art! Also – it cleans itself after each brew?? And, its red accent would go perfectly with the red FreeAgent!

111 Molly Byrd February 10, 2009 at 3:22 pm

I would love the glam media case. . hope hubby gets it for me for V-day!

112 Melissa P February 10, 2009 at 3:36 pm

You have quite a few wonderful ideas. I’m off to Children’s place to get my 2 youngest some cute new jammies for Valentine’s and I’m also going to go check out the Sweet Muse brownies. YUM and I adore anything in cute packaging!
:) Thank you for the ideas!

117 Tina February 10, 2009 at 5:00 pm

I hope I get chosen for one of the hard drives. Would love. Thanks for a chance to win!!

118 Stephanie February 10, 2009 at 5:49 pm

I’m liking that Chilly Jilly. It looks perfect for dressy occasions when you just don’t want to “cover up” your pretty dress with a bulky jacket.

119 chrystal February 10, 2009 at 6:05 pm

SWEET, personalized roll-ups! Who knew!!!

120 chrystal February 10, 2009 at 6:06 pm

123 trisha February 10, 2009 at 7:43 pm

124 Michele P. February 10, 2009 at 9:48 pm

I would love to get my man the Remington PG 350 personal groomer, and those Lovepak cards would leave one heck of a hint for a great evening!

I like the Gibson pewter earrings. Not for myself, but my wife loves getting new earrings, so these would garner me some big happy points on Valentine’s Day.

127 Julie From Inmates February 10, 2009 at 10:28 pm

Paper Shouts and Photo books look like really clever gifts. Oh, and the glam media case looks fabulous for a princess, so I’ll take that too. Thanks for all the wonderful give aways!!!!

128 Laura S. February 10, 2009 at 10:54 pm

Ok, the hard drive is really my absolute favorite on the list. And a hard drive in pink!! Be still my heart! Ok, I’m a little bit of a techie. But my other favorite is Paper Shouts-I haven’t heard of them before and the cards are really cute. I really like my computer, but I still like sending and opening real mail cards! I also like them to be different from the ones I see in every store.

129 Charlene February 11, 2009 at 2:38 pm

The earrings would be nice, but I think the Remington Groomer would be a nice gift for my husband. He is a “keeper”.

130 Tim February 11, 2009 at 6:18 pm

I like the Tassimo Hot Beverage System the best.

131 Jeane February 11, 2009 at 7:09 pm
