They should serve you want YOU WANT - duh! Not what they would LIKE you to eat! - and the table is yours for as long as you like it. It's hard to find decent service these days. When you sit down in a restaurant, they are privileged that you chose them. They should serve you want YOU WANT – duh! Not what they would LIKE you to eat! – and the table is yours for as long as you like it.

It’s hard to find decent service these days. They want you to shovel down their oversized portions and rush your way out the door, so they can fill your table again. Better to stay home!

Don't interrupt a table full of a dozen people who have a dozen families and dozens of friends to make them feel unwelcome - because they will tell everyone and you will lose way more revenue than you might have lost on a table full of salad eating moms.
