I know, I KNOW I said I took all my giveaways to my review blog, but it just seemed fitting to host this one here. I’ve been hinting about an Orla Kiely giveaway in the works, and this is it! A good friend introduced me to Orla Kiely’s designs last winter when she discovered THE most adorable black and ivory purse I think I’ve ever seen. I wasn’t sure about this “laminated canvas” concept until I saw it in person, and once I saw one I knew it was destined to hang in my closet. There it is — peeking out at the far end.
A better investment I have never made. That purse went almost everywhere with me for an entire year, and it still looks brand spankin’ new. I’ve kept my eye on the new Orla Kiely patterns each season, waiting for another one to speak to me like that one did, and I found it a few months ago when I was shopping at Nordstrom.
It’s the Multi Stem Shoulder Bag (also shown in the photo above.) And of course it’s the one that I had illustrated for my header, because that’s how much I love it. I ordered it from AllAboutCute.com — a site that has all sorts of Orla Kiely goodies as well as many other adorable brands. They specialize in “beautiful prints, vibrant colours and gorgeous silhouettes.” Just go over and take a peek. It’s not just handbags. There is clothing, jewelry, and other accessories as well.

I have been looking for the perfect tote bag for months and months. You have no idea how much I need that bag. My canvas piece of crap is falling apart, and I need something to cart around books, crayons, snacks, water cups, and oh, client files. What’s perfect about this bag is that it is great in the office and on the playground. Love it!

Oh SOOOO cute! And all my book bags are circa 1984…canvas with long shoulder straps, that my mom could not stand to throw away because they were still in good shape. 25 years is a long time to keep a book bag…I think a gorgeous new one would be perfect.

I love that bag! Now that A is over one, I want to replace the “diaper bag” with a tote or a larger bag that I can use as a purse but also throw a few diapers and some wipes into! I think that one would be perfect because I could also throw some files from work in it to carr back and forth.

I’d like to win this bag to put my Sunday School stuff in it – story book, Bible, snacks. I teach a children’s class.
I’m a mentor for 8 little ones who all have a different thing going each week. Tae kwon do… multiplication in the market, roller skating, rock climbing. I have a different bag for each of them and switch them often to keep them excited about what we’re doing together. This would be a perfect, durable addition to our rotation.
I need that bag. I have to haul around myself and children to multiple sports practices and games each week. That bag would do nicely to hold all my gear and my flask, I mean water bottle.

Okay, ready for my pathetic reason….I have been on the hunt for total cuteness in a handbag, only to find that I haven’t found it yet, or had time to look!! This is a great size to carry either books or lots of other things. I always need something to carry sunscreen, my cellphone, etc. when I go to my son’s soccer games and this would be perfect.
I am in desperate need of a new bag for spring and have been in love with Orla Kiely for years. My husband bought me my first one more than 3 years ago as a congratulatory gift for finishing my first big commercial shoot.
