It was like watching life from the sidelines. I finally broke down and mopped my kitchen floor after noticing my son's socks were a wonderful shade of black. And for what it's worth, I'm with Terra on the disappearing stickiness. Dirt sticks to sticky stuff and hides it. I know this from personal experience of course. ;-) Great post.
