I’m jetting out the door and throwing this post up at the last minute because that’s how I roll. I either have posts written a week in advance or a minute in advance. My husband likes to say I have two speeds: stop and go. Heh. Pretty much sums me up!
This week I learned that I can organize and host an event for 50 people and not lose my mind. Now THAT was a revelation, because the last time I hosted an event for 50 people, I almost had to be medicated. And that’s no joke.
We learned that the heated dry cycle on our dishwasher was the cause of the sludge on our clean dishes. Who woulda thunk? I was about to throw the thing out the window and go spend every last time of my savings on a new one that WORKS. But after a few expert Google searches, my husband discovered the heated dry cycle problem. And now it’s GOOD. AS. NEW.
And also? That is all. Because I’m out the door. Going to Home of the Sparrow with Sarah to deliver our donations from Saturday’s picnic AND get a quick tour of the homes. I’m so excited about the work being done there; I can’t wait to see it up close and personal.
Did you learn anything this week? Please link your post back to this one, and then feel free to leave a permalink to your What I Learned This Week post in the Mr. Linky widget below. Then, go forth and comment!

I pretty much run on stop and go too – or go, go, go until I crash and need to fix myself up again. You did a fabulous job with the picnic!

The heat cycle, eh? Who knew? And what did we ever do without Google….
I hope you start to feel better today. And you were able to keep a sane mind while entertaining! LOL.
Hugs.

Um, yeah. Posts written in advance? What’s that? I squeeze my posts in when I can. Like now when the boy is napping.
Picnic was fabulous and you certainly looked like your mind was still intact.

I miss Mr. Linky! Is that something that you have to pay for? It seems like there isn’t as much WILTH post-perusing without it, and I know I’m guilty of it as well! Lovin’ the carnival – thanks for encouraging everyone to share!
Mr. Linky is defunct at the moment.

Hey WOW there’s some great “everyday aha moments” in here. Wish I could think of one of my own to share, but for now I will simply give props. I think lots of these would be great additions to our site.
If anyone is so inclined please head over to ahamoment.com share!
Thanks and have a great day.
