The giveaways are now closed. The winners are Christine @ Live Laugh Love & Bloggings, Michelle Smiles, and Dana. Congrats, ladies!
It’s hard to believe, but BlogHer 09 seems to be wrapping up already. The chatter on Twitter this morning is all about saying good-bye to Chicago and looking forward to next year. And next year? NYC, bay-beeee!!!!!! BlogHer is FINALLY coming to the East Coat, and IT’S ABOUT TIME, is all I have to say about that. And also. You may know that I’m in Philly, so barring death or illness or broken limbs, I WILL BE AT BLOGHER 10. Can you tell that I’m channeling a little Scarlet O’Hara right there? *grabs handful of dirt and pumps fist at sky*
So anyway. Enough about me.
You’re here for the GIVEAWAYS, right?
First, I want to say a big thanks to Robin who brainstormed and organized this event. And thanks to everyone who participated. I am sorry I wasn’t able to visit all 320 of you, but I’m excited about those of you who I did get to “meet.” Hopefully we have all discovered a few new friends this weekend.
So here’s what I rounded up for you:
12 Naturally Nora Cake/Frosting Mixes {Retail value $50}
A selection of Sun and Earth products {Retail value $52}
Eco “Talk Green to Me” bag, {Retail value $14.99}
To be eligible for the giveaways, you must have a Blog Hop 09 button on your blog and a link registered on the Blog Hop MckLinky. Then just leave a comment on this post telling me about one new “friend” you made through the Blog Hop. I will randomly select the winners sometime after Thursday, July 30. This week is CUH-razy for me (two trips, oh my!) so I can’t guarantee when I’ll get around to wrapping up the giveaway, but I will close comments and post the winners at the top of this post when I do. (And I will email them as well, so you don’t need to check back here to find out if you win.)
Then you’ll wanna hop on over to Robin‘s and enter her giveaways. (Hers will be up shortly. While you’re over there, be sure to give her a li’l bit of TLC. She worked on her giveaway posts all day yesterday lost them all. See her In Tears post for the full details.)
And here are a few more giveaways associated with the BlogHop:
JanMary is giving away one of her super cute hand-made mobile phone/cell phone charms.
Shelly is giving away a $25 Starbucks gift card.
Good luck! And feel free to keep Blog Hopping. The nice thing about not being at BlogHer is, our party doesn’t have to be over. Bwahahaaa!

First of all – I will be with you in 2010. I am an East Coast Gal myself. (Hubby is from Cherry Hill, NJ also) Any chance to be in NYC at any time is an excuse for me!
It is hard to choose one friend (because, hello! so many fab bloggers to choose from) but I found another Jenny at http://www.86753oh9.com/ 8675309 haha! I used to love, love that song growing up. She is terrific and her blog is fun to read!
Thanks again for thinking the BlogHop up!
Would you believe we are considering a trip to east coast of US next summer, and dh has said that if I can arrange the timing, then I can attend!
Now I just need to start planning – considering a house/cottage swap!
Already met so many new bloggers through the bloghop, so here is just one – Denise http://densdailylife.blogspot.com/ who is originally from England, but now lives in US.
I met Robin through BlogHop! She seems pretty cool, and it was funny watching and listening to her on the webcam during the chat.
I’ve got my eye on NY in 2010 too! I just need to find some sponsors.
Thanks for your work on the Hop. It has really been fun.
Oh, and my new friend:
Jenny 867-5309 she has a brother with Down syndrome, just like Parker!
I have my link at the Blog Hop and my button is up on our front page!
Well…I’ve actually hopped on so many blogs that they are starting to run together.
But…I really love it that I met Mary at Owl Haven. She had some pretty awesome posts that just spoke directly to me.
I will be stalking her now!
In a healthy way, I promise!
Love this HOP!
So many great blogs but I dig the Dolly Mama.
My button is posted on my page as well as my post about it. Bravo! Such a great idea.
Count me in on the giveaway! I just met Mari and I’ll get to meet her next week at She Speaks. Woo hoo! And just for the record, I have a giveaway going at my place, too, so hop on over.
Hello! Just stopping by to show some love for the Blog Hop. Hope you’ll get a chance to stop by my blog!
XOXO
~Eve
I’m in NJ, and really went to learn everything I can about blogging so I’ll be ready for it! Can you email me the button code, I can’t find it for the BlogHop! Thanks. cdziuba@aol.com
I’m thrilled that BlogHer will be in NYC and you’ll be able to attend!
I’ve read so many great blogs from the BlogHop. I really enjoyed meting Tranquility.
Yay! NYC – I just may be able to afford it then!!
Just one new friend? Hmm. How about two? Missus Wookie and Jen are both new to me, and I hope that we become friends, as we all have children with special needs.
I “met” many cool moms. SmartCentsMom is a Disney fanatic like me so this will be the seed for our friendship!
I enjoyed visiting Jessie of Muthering Heights. She’s only 25 years old and already has 3 children. She graduated from Penn State with a degree in art education for museums and cultural institutions.
This HOP thing was SOOOO cool…I met so many great peeps it is too hard to decide…
there’s Karin @HisFireFly and @PolkaSpotFarm oh yes and then there’s vanderbiltwife and THAT my friend is just the beginning!
Button in sidebar – check
MckLinky link – check
New friend – check, check, check, check… I’ll go with A Thorn Among Roses over at http://rdehaus.blogspot.com/ because she mentioned that she enjoys “utter silliness” and that means she and I would get along fabulously!!!
Thanks for the fun party and the great giveaways!!!
What a great idea! Just thought I’d stop by and see what you were up to lately!!
I found Muthering Heights (http://mutheringheights.blogspot.com/), and absolutely love her blog. She’s a wonderful writer, and her story is very similar to mine. I look forward to keeping up with her blog from now on.
NYC – I’m in Orange County NY so can’t wait for next year! WOOT WOOT!
I met some wonderful bloggers this past couple of days hard to choose just one but I’m going with Heather at 3 under 3.
I’m also hosting a giveaway 45.00 GC to winners choice (must see blog for choices)
Blog Hop on…. MUAH!
I discovered “Not a Bow in Sight” about a working mom turned SAHM with a fun sense of humor. Can’t wait to read more!
I met Stacie at Random Thoughts and I got enthralled by reading 10 (yes, TEN!) posts about her journey to motherhood. She’s a wonderful writer and I know that I look forward to reading more of what she shares!
Thanks for co-hosting the blog hop! I had SOOOOOO much fun with it this weekend!
Just one? I loved meeting so many new women out there it’s impossible to pick…
There’s Monica Brand at Paper Bridges http://paperbridges.net/
Kaycee at Living Life on Little Sugar Creek http://lifeonlittlesugar.blogspot.com/ out in the wilds like I am, just a different part of the world
and of course Lisa, our Beadgirl at http://studiojewel.blogspot.com/ who went over the top encouraging all of us along the way..
okay, I’ll stop.. could sit here all day adding people…
take some for yourself too, great job!
I enjoyed visiting so many folks that I probably would never come across otherwise. Let’s see…polkaspotfarm taught me some new southern phrases – I’m a Yankee in the south so I need all the help I can get!
After reading who met who (or is that whom) I think I need to go check out more people from the BlogHop. Step 1 and 2 I’m good with and as for new friends I’ve added quite a few in my reader including A Classic Housewife and a Pilot’s Wife. I always enjoy Robin’s BlogHop and will miss it next year when I’M IN NYC WITH YOU!!!
There were so many friendly women at the ‘Hop!! The one that stands out to me is Pink Haired Momma….
http://www.thoughtsofprincessmar.blogspot.com/
I love her pink-ness
Well I guess I would have to pick Heather @ Heathers Happenings. I just love meeting other Heathers! Thanks for the great giveaways and all of your hard work!
