1. I can survive a week without knowing what I weigh.
2. When you’re in a pinch, you can use coconut oil from your kitchen as face cream.
3. Driving a sedan can be a lot of fun. Of course, I’ve been driving a minivan for six years. So consider the source.
4. It’s a small world. See #6.
5. It’s worth taking the time to fix your hair and face when you go out. You never know who you may see. See #6.
6. When you post pictures of yourself and your kids on your blog, people you’ve never met before may recognize you and call you by name when you’re grocery shopping. (Hi Lauren! We need to meet for coffee!)
7. I need more sleep. A few more hours in the day would help.
What did YOU learn this week? You know the drill.

I am right there with you about the more hours for sleep. I need about 2 extra hours per day. Really, I’d be set then. I miss the little Honda Civic I had years ago in the early days of parenthood with only one kid.
I have a sedan and I love it. Sure they fight sometimes, but 3 kids are always going to fight, right?
Right?
I’m going the other way with vehicles. I have a sedan (which I DO love) but we’re looking to up-size to a minivan. Wonder if they make manual transmission minivans?
You are such the celebrity. Pretty soon you’ll have to start wearing huge, dark shades whenever you go out…just like the actresses always do.
P.S. I need more sleep too. It’s almost 1 a.m. now, but I still have so much to do…
My lessons are up.
I dream of more sleep – or I would do, if I was actually asleep and able to dream about it! LOL!
haha…yes indeed to #6
further, when you post pictures of #3 on the blog too, expect her to recognize that on the second run-in
and yes, coffee is a MUST!
Lauren, and also, the yellow handbag?
Oh man. Running into people is great, and awful. So glad you met a reader though!h
I try to avoid going to the supermarket near my parents’ house for fear of running into someone I went to high school with… When you figure out how to squeeze more hours into the day, let me know.
Whoa, that is funny that you were recognized in the store. You’re a celebrity!
See my post today about car talk.
OH Coconut Oil has taken up space in my makeup drawer… a am using it everyday with great results. The antibacterial properties are very helpful. Plus Hubby says I smell good when I come to bed!!
Unfortunately, this week I learned that there ARE more hours in the day than I thought and I DON’T choose to get sleep with them.
(Got here from As Many As We’re Given.. haven’t been by in a while and I really like the new colors.)
what a wonderful idea this is
i am going to do this everyweek now so i can come back and link it
i have you credited a couple times in my post
thanks so much:)
I know what you mean by busy! Sorry I didn’t put anything up this week.
How long are the parents in town for?
Too funny. I always run into people when I run out real quick like that too. And I’ve been using coconut oil on my face daily as a moisturizer for almost five years now…it works great! It’s also a great eye makeup remover.
coconut oil is awesome. I love it. It’s cheap as well. Only thing is, since it’s a good eye make-up remover, don’t put it on your eyes if you use it in the morning. Also, if you have a dry/itchy scalp/dandruff…rub it on your scalp before bed and then wash it out in the morning. It’s awesome.
I have learned this week, that I am annoyed that I have to exercise. However, I want to. It’s a weird state to be in, but I am strong enough to overcome it.
