Sometimes I get get away with wearing heels at the storebought length, but if I want to wear them with flats, I always hem them. It costs about $20 if you have them retain the original hem, WHICH YOU ALWAYS WANT TO DO WITH DENIM. That way, it keeps whatever distressing went into the hem and it doesn't look like your momma hemmed your jeans. ;-)

Angie, good question. I have to agree with Karen that I've had pretty good luck with Old Navy jeans. I still remember buying my very first pair -- that were lower waist AND boot cut -- revolutionary in the mid-90's! Anyway, that pair of jeans is now my "old comfortable pair" that I wear around the house -- over 10 years later.

If your jeans have elastic, they might be — they ARE Mom jeans.

I have to agree with Karen that I’ve had pretty good luck with Old Navy jeans. Just put in 7Family at checkout. It really does work. I just ordered my daughter-in-law a pair for Christmas.

Go to 7Forallmankind website. I bought two pair of the Old Navy skinny jeans. The Sweatheart jean has a longer waist, which I prefer and are much more comfortable than the Diva jean. It was the first time I bought jeans from Old Navy. I have spent everywhere from $100+ for jeans to $20 for them and have to say that the Old Navy $20 jeans (they were on sale) are just as comfy as the $100+ jeans.

(I’m reposting this with my correct blog and contact info…)

I bought two pair of the Old Navy skinny jeans. I bought these Levi's skinny jeans 421 at Macy's ($39) I think they're a bit higher waist - I liked them in the dressing room, but I have not worn them out yet!
