Of course, the worst part is yet to come.

Okay. That is just wrong. I am drowning in laundry. It is the thing I hate most in the world.
I’m drowning in it as well. Our washer started leaking water last week…a neighbor joked that I needed a washboard from the thrift store because I was doing wash in the laundry tub. LOL
Out of curiosity – what do you charge to come to my house and do the following:
1. Install new counters in the Kitchen like yours.
2. Do the backsplash tile work like yours.
3. Get my laundry room looking like yours.
It may be worth the air fare to Dallas!
Good job! I know the kids won’t say it, so I will – “Thanks Mom! You rock!”

Glad to know you lead a normal life like the rest of us! Thanks for sharing it all.
I HATE laundry. Hate is a strong word, but it’s the right one.
So glad that I am not the only one who hates the folding and putting away. I can’t wait for them to make a washer and dryer that does that for you… oh wait… I have kids to do that!!
Why don’t they, then?
Look like we were doing the same thing! Lots and lots of dirty laundry got done here today but now it’s time to fold and put away!
Looks like we did the same thing this weekend. But I did fold mine and put it away, which is some kind of miracle.
I think what I hate most about laundry is you are never caught up…….
Agreed. I don’t mind washing and drying – it’s the folding that really gets to me. The worst part? It never ends – there’s always more laundry to be done. Sigh.
Probably the same reason mine don’t. It’s easier to do it yourself than to fight with them over it.
YES! Exactly. Sigh…
I’m hoping that my laundry room will look like yours tomorrow. It was supposed to happen today but somehow I just didn’t get to it. I agree that the folding and putting away is the worst part. And that it’s never ending. Just when you think you’re done, everyone changes their clothes again.
I dare not take a picture of my laundry {done and undone!}
a side note: I use to have that exact same bedroom set {comforter, pillows etc!}
We have that same bed!
You go girl! Look at that clean floor
Inspirational, that’s for sure!
I totally know how you feel. Whenever I feel like I am getting on top of getting my laundry cleaned, I have a nagging feeling in the back of my head….”We’ve got to put all that washed stuff away!”
Ooops! You’ve just reminded me, I need to put a load of washing in the washer!
Thanks!
