What I Learned This Week

in What I Learned This Week

what-i-learned-this-week2Can you believe it’s time for What I Learned This Week already?  Although what I REALLY can’t believe is that I typed my last What I Learned This Week post from my villa at the Bay Lake Tower/Contemporary Resort in Disney World (thanks, Mom!)  As nice as it is to be home, I’m running in circles trying to catch up from being away for a week and getting prepared for a holiday weekend.  Craziness.

This really has nothing to do with learning anything, but I’m so excited I have to share.  Some of you have mentioned my new avatar.  For years I’ve watched Christie post her gorgeous pictures on her blog and drooled over them, and now I have some of my very own!  This girl is an amazing photographer as well as a Photoshopping Diva.   She took about 10 years off my face.

And then there are the pictures of the kids.  Aren’t these just to die for?

And who are these movie stars?  How did their picture get into my proofs?

Then there’s a handful of family shots that I’m not ready to post JUST yet.  I actually just ordered Christmas photo cards with two different companies, and I don’t want to post the photos here until I get those mailed out, which could be January 2011 so don’t be holding your breath.  Not to suggest that seeing my family photos is the highlight of your day.

And if you’re a close friend or family member, now you know what YOU’RE getting for Christmas!

What did YOU learn this week?

Great pictures! I’m still in the phase where I will be lucky if I can get both of the boys to sit still (and together) for a decent holiday card picture! We’ll see!

This week, I learned that I had forgotten how nice it was to just relax with my husband and spend some time reconnecting. Guess it had been waaayyyy too long and overdue. But with a 2.5 yr old and 4 month old, we’ll take any alone time we can get….even if it’s very rarely!

Have a great week and Thanksgiving!

All the photos are absolutely beautiful! I’ve been thinking of trying to get together with a local photographer friend of mine. I think I’m just scared I’m not giving them enough to work with :D But Photoshop is awesome!

You look absolutely gorgeous and I love the picture of you and your husband – you both look so in love :)

What did I learn this week? That not every one sees their pets as members of their family.

Wonderful pics – all of them, but especially that very attractive couple at the end!

My post includes a bit about school drop-offs and pick-ups – would love you to drop by and let me know what happens with you.

Thanks.
