Links and Shout Outs

links-and-shout-outs2Monday Motivation: Don’t be late for very important dates — Tidy Brown Wren.  I wish I were more organized with my calendar.  I do have one, and I do use it, but I need to use it better.  I like Kelly’s suggestions, especially for remembering birthdays.  Incidentally, her site is chock full of helpful tips and creative decorating ideas.  You should poke around a bit.  But then come back, because I have more fun links for you!

Reality Calling — Such the Spot.  I can so totally relate to this post.  It’s nice to be back in the routine.

Paula of Guadalajara, Mexico: A Testament to Dr. Weston Price — Cheeseslave.  I’m not sure I agree with every last one of Ann Marie’s conclusions, but I found this incredibly fascinating.

Nourishing Baby Steps: Small Changes for Beginners, Part 3 – Replacing Sugar With Healthier Alternatives — The Nourished Life.  This blog is new to me, and I’ve enjoyed poking around.  I particularly like this article on sugar in her series on Small Changes for Beginners, but the others are certainly worth reading as well.

Chasing Sandman — Pensieve.  This post makes my heart ache.

  1. Jo-Lynne…thank you.

I’m very grateful for you sharing this post with YOUR readers; I’ve been so out of touch with my community for so long now, and taken so much time off writing, it hasn’t been seen by many eyes. Because I wrote with my heart, I HOPED a few people would see it, and thanks to you, more will.

I appreciate your generosity and will sneak and find a way to pay it back…and forward!

  2. Thanks for the shout out, Jo-Lynne. I thought of another tip to help with keeping track of everything in your planner. I know you have 3 children who all have activities to be scheduled. In my planner I kept track of each child’s activities with a code. I would list their first initial with a circle around it and then list the activity. That way I could see, at a glance, what needed to be done. Before I started doing that, I would get tired of writing everyone’s name or I wouldn’t write their name and then forget who was doing what. Just a simple tip that might help out your readers. Happy New Year!

  3. Thanks for the link Jo-Lynne! And I have an idea for you…how about a “what to wear to Blissdom” post for us newbies? Pretty please. :)

  4. I love your little links and shout out button. It’s adorable! =)
