I wasn’t going to post anything else about preparing for Blissdom, but I have had a lot of questions about the evening events and how it works, so I thought I’d just address them in a post in case others were wondering too.
First, it seems that a lot of people were unaware of the “pajama party” on Saturday night. I was referring to the ‘COME COMFORTABLE’ MOVIE & GAMES NIGHT from 8:00 to 11:00 pm on Saturday night. You can reference the Blissdom Conference Agenda for more information. Last year some girls were in pajamas; I wore my favorite Aeropostale sweatpants and a hoodie. It’s so nice, after two nights of dressing up for cocktail parties, to pull on your familiar comfort clothes and just hang out and visit. So be sure to bring something comfy that you don’t mind wearing in public.
Here’s a reader question about the multiple events planned each night:
Are some people just skipping the cocktail parties for Tastemaker and such? Or going to both, or what??
The official Blissdom events are in the hotel, and they are listed on the agenda I referenced above. There is a COCKTAIL PARTY both Thursday and Friday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
The Tastemaker Party is scheduled for Friday night from 9:00 to 11:00. While it’s not an official Blissdom event, it is open to everyone, and I hope you will come if you’re going to be there! You can view the invitation and RSVP for that here.
There will also be privately hosted parties off property, and some things are bound to overlap, so you will have to pick and choose, or try to catch a little bit of each if possible. There will be groups of people going out to eat and to see the nightlife too, so just plan to go with the flow. It’s a great time, I promise!

Check out my newest posts at Reviewsings. Last week I got to sample a pair of designer jeans from Beija-Flor and a Winyah polo for kids from COAST.

I’m definitely looking forward to hanging out in pjs/comfy clothes Saturday evening!
You’re just trying to torment me, aren’t you?
Very jealous as I know a lot of you going! However, I can’t feel too bad as I am going to my first blogger event at WDW just days later! The PJ party sounds fun. Can’t wait to see pics!
I was wondering too. Thanks for posting and clarifying.
Great tips. As a conference veteran, I’d add that it’s important to focus on what you want to do and where you want to go. It can be exhausting running around trying to be in all the “right places,” and it can leave a gal feeling like she didn’t do much more than run around all night. Spending quality time with friends is what it’s all about.
Thank you for keeping all of us newbies in the loop! I am just getting more excited with each post I read!
Just so stinkin’ excited! Can’t get here soon enough!!
