When I visit a beauty counter, and one of the assistants is applying cream/makeup they always comment on my lovely skin - but as I neglect mine terribly I reckon they just say that to everyone! I followed the recipe from this site: http://www.theoilcleansingmethod.com/ except I used EVOO. LOVE it! I also use good quality coconut oil on my skin. I'll say this - my adult acne issues are becoming a thing of the past, as is my dry skin. and it's CHEAP! About a year and a half ago I started using Obaji, which I love, but it's pricey. I also use a serum from Skinlogics that's great, but, again, pricey. I guess as we get older it all becomes worth it. Sort of. My trick is to use a washcloth to wash my face once a day, in the shower in the morning. I use my hands at night just so I don't over-exfoliate. I never have flakey skin, so I guess it works. (Of course, my skin is oily, so that may have something to do with it. ;) ) Talk about overpriced skincare systems! I have a great microdermabrasion I use twice it a week and OH GIRL my face feels like a million bucks! If you find yourself in the market for another exfoliator, try it the Mary Kay Microderm, it's pretty inexpensive comparably speaking. Glad your skin is feeling better! It's awful! I've taken the cheaper route and use the buffing sponges every couple of days and then lather with moisturizer. It's weird, I random dry spots everywhere! Oh, I just love winter!
