I ended up taking a class at JoAnn's because I didn't know anyone personally that could teach me. Love the colors in your yarn, which brand/color name is it? I re-taught myself how to crochet last week, and made a beanie! It felt awesome! In fact, my mother told me it looks a little used already :(. I don't yet know how to fix dropped stitches, so that could be part of the problem.
