I like thim all kinda equally. I was really surprised by Tim Urban that he pulled that song off and Toddrick Hall did WAY better than I expected, but I agree with Simon that he is destined for Broadway.

No comment on Idol since I didn’t watch it.

Hmmm. I like Lee because he’s from Chicago. I loved Andrew at the beginning (I’m still stuck with that Paula song in my head), but I think it’s time for him to go now. Todrick really pulled that one off–amazing! And Michael . . . oh my. My daughter and I had to pull up the lyrics of that song to figure out what it was about, but once we did we were practically crying. His wife must be one lucky girl.

And Alex? I only have one word. Mullet.

Ha! I saw the whirly skirt commercial, looked at my thirteen year old daughter, and informed her that we NEED to get some of those for her. I want her to wear skirts to church, but we’ve had a hard time finding some that are appropriate.

Most of the idol guys were bad, bad, bad last night. We loved Michael Lynch.

Lee reminds me of Adam Duritz from Counting Crows in the way he delivers a song. I hope he can stay around long enough to shine a little more, he seems more confident this week.

The whole middle section….meh. It’s a “bookend” week for me – Lee and Michael. IMO, Michael blew everyone away last night, though I give Todrick props for taking on Queen and doing (I though) a good job.

My husband will pretty much say whatever Simon says before his turn…it’s like they were separated at birth. He said that Kara is the new Paula – all emotional and getting kind of loco. I still have hopes for the Straight Up guy…

Yeah, Lee did great, but I think that the judges gave him the runaround. I think he’s my favorite. I like Casey too.

The judges love Alex Lambert, but he’s never been my guy.

I think at this point in the competition, the guy’s field is still up for grabs for anyone. The girls just seem to have a few who are up and down and all over the place, and the guys are more consistent.

I thought the exact same thing about the whirly skirt. That would make a grown woman (who wasn’t 5’11″ tall and 110 pounds) look like a stubby mess.

I actually enjoyed all of the boys tonight. I would like to send 4 girls home tonight and keep all of the guys. I’m just not feeling the girls tonight. I’ve often wondered why they don’t just pick the top 24 SINGERS and go from there. Why do they have to split it up? It doesn’t seem fair to me.
