I have thought this myself several times after dropping Shorty off at 9:00am. I have an hour to kill before I can actually shop and if I go home until the malls open then I'm never going to get back out the door because I will be sucked in by whatever work or distractions are at home. Just yesterday, I was checking the opening hours of various stores online to see what shopping I could get done after dropping my son off at preschool at 9am. I wound up at Target, but I really wanted to be at the mall! I'd say the malls are losing quite a bit of business from the mothers-of-preschoolers crowd! I couldn’t agree more! With a toddler, naptime starts at 1... so then by the time she wakes up, has a snack, head to the mall, BOOM! Only an hour left to get my shop on. BOOOO.
