I fast forwarded through most of Idol’s show tonight. I’m dog tired. The long and the short of it is, Big Mike and Andrew were the bottom two, and Big Mike must sing for his life.
Remember when I predicted an upset this week? Yeah. Well, I didn’t want it to be MIKE going home. Dang.
He’s pulling out all the stops with This Woman’s World, complete with chest thumps for good measure. I actually think there’s a chance they’ll use the Judges Save this week.
Ooooh, Kara looks mad. Is there a disagreement among the judges?
I guess not; Simon says it’s unanimous. AND they’re using the save. My DVR cut out just after Simon said, “We’re gonna see you next week,” so that’s all I’ve got.

I am a Big Mike fan, so I definitely was glad the judges used the save! I thought Andrew would go home this week.
That is one of my all time favorite songs that Big Mike sang! Even have it on my IPOD to run to. Not a running song you say??????? Running is this woman’s work! ha!
I live blogged it, but yeah — the results show is something just screaming for DVR fast-forwarding!!
It was awesome. There was lots of crying. I was so glad they kept him. I did NOT want to see him leave. I just hope the next few weeks really keep the best singers in the competition.
Ours cut out just after that…I hate that. Why do they run it long – we had another show starting on the dvr at 9 and it would have interrupted that. Just finish on time!
Okay, so you saw that Big Mike was saved. But the big news is that 2 will be going home next week. DunDunDuh!
Oh of course! I forgot that part of the deal. Well, America better get it RIGHT! lol
Well, (don’t hate me) I don’t like Big Mike. I mean he can sing and all, but I think *he* thinks he’s great, and there just seems to be a lot of put on when he performs. But I see I am in the minority here, LOL. I really thought Andrew would be the one going home, especially when he was in the bottom 2. Oh well. Next week should be interesting.
