Bought my first grass-fed beef today at a local farmers market. We are also freezing corn we got this morning in preparation for the winter. Thanks for all the info you are sifting through and sharing.

What do you pay for a grass-fed chicken? They wanted $12 for one. Is it worth that much?

That’s actually a pretty good price. I pay $15 or $18 sometimes. Usually they’re $3.25/lb. :-)
