Jo-Lynne, you should try rollerblading, it’s a blast! Always wear wrist guards though. My sister broke her wrist rollerblading at the beginning of the summer.

You guys are all smoking something. I am so not getting on rollerblades. I fell RUNNING this summer. I am so not getting on skates. It would be like a guaranteed broken leg.

. she looks pretty excited. glad that she’s got all her safety gear on too! i tried rollerblading…then discovered i couldn’t stop myself very well after taking on a hill (my own fault)…i had to grab the stop sign to stop so that i didn’t go out into oncoming traffic.

FUN! My girls would love them. Our local community center has free open skate on Fridays at 4 in the gym and lots of kids bring rollerblades.
Great pic. Makes me want to break out my old ones. Last time I used them was 15 years ago when I lived in Philly skating around the Schuykill.

When I first saw the title of your post in my reader, I thought that perhaps YOU had gotten rollerblades! I haven’t been on blades since middle school. I’m pretty sure I would fall flat on my face if I did.
