I’m back from Cape May and settled in here at home and trying to figure out how to consolidate 3 days of awesome and over 320 photos into one concise skimmable post. DON’T LAUGH! I can do this. I think I can… I think I can… I think I can……
In the meanwhile, my family has to eat. So. Here’s my tentative menu plan for the week. With no farmers’ market trip on Saturday and no recent farm excursions to stock up on meat, we’re flying by the seat of our pants around here.
MONDAY: Salmon Cakes with a side of brown basmati rice and a salad (lettuce and arugula from our backyard garden)

TUESDAY: Tequila Lime Chicken, Herbed New Potatoes, and sauteed swiss chard (fresh from our garden! WOO!)
WEDNESDAY: Pizza Night for my son’s baseball team. I’ll figure out something for myself, and the rest of the fam will enjoy local pizzeria pizza.
THURSDAY: hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill, potato chips, raw veggies
FRIDAY: Crustless Chard Quiche and a salad from our garden
SATURDAY: Ribs from the famers’ market, corn on the cob, green beans
SUNDAY: Father’s Day — I’ll be taking my dad and hubby out to eat!

tequilla lime chicken look yum. I will be trying that out on Thursday. Thanks!
I just printed the potato recipe to try with my farmer’s market potatos tonight.
Do you have a special hamburger recipe? I recently figured that since I’m an American I should know how to make a good burger and am working on that quest.
