I'm a wife, mom, writer, Christ follower, aspiring runner, avid style watcher, recovering foodie, hopeless coffee addict and connector of people. My husband says I have two speeds -- stop and go. I talk too fast and I over-think everything. When I'm not online, you will mostly likely find me curled up with my Kindle and a glass of wine. And I'll never turn down a pedicure.

  1. My two favorite posts of yours are Elmo has Left the Building and If You Take Your Kids to the Mall… :) Happy New Year!

  2. Ahhh, food! Why am I not surprised most of your top posts are some great recipes? I have used (and continue to use) several of them myself!

I’ve searched and searched for the perfect whole wheat sandwich bread recipe . . . and that reminds me that I need to try yours again. I think it’s been quite a while, and maybe it was cockpit error the first time around! Mine is always dry, and hardly stands up to sandwich making!

    • It can depend on a lot of things, and frankly, mine is often a bit dry and crumbly. It used to be better, and I’m not sure why. I think things like elevation, temperature, humidity and such can affect it.

  3. We do like us some good food, right? I have to say the photography for the food posts is very good! My dishes don’t quite look like that. :) I printed the Chicken with Spinach and Mushroom Sauce recipe to try this week. Love the Wintry Banner!

  4. I shouldn’t have read this, I can’t have dairy for a while, and these cheesy pictures are killing me! I look forward to trying these recipes some day!

  5. Oh no! Why no dairy???

  6. Love your new blog header for January! I need to try some of your recipes. I did switch to coconut oil in my baking, but I don’t bake very often.

  7. Yum, yum, yum! I’m going to have to bookmark this post and stop back by! PS I love your wintery new look/color scheme!

  8. Hello, I wish for to subscribe for this blog to take latest updates,
so where can i do it please assist.
