I mentioned before that I’m an ASTRA ambassador this holiday season, and I’m always interested to see their list of Best Toys for Kids every year. They have recently released their list of Best Toys for Kids 2012 if you’re interested in taking a look.
I love how they divide their list into age groups as well as themes — pretend play, scientific, active, creative, etc. It makes it really easy to find unique and beneficial toys for every kid on your list.
We were given the chance to try out the Kickin’ Putt earlier this fall, and my kids had a blast with it.

As an ASTRA ambassador, I get to host a giveaway for a prize pack containing 2-3 toys from ASTRA’s Best Toys for Kids list (minimum total value, $50). Unfortunately they can’t accomodate specific toy requests, but if you have a long list of kids to buy for, the winner would likely be able to cross a few gifts of her list!
You can also follow The Woohoo Factor on Facebook to keep up to date on Neighborhood Toy Store Day events coming up in the next few weeks.
WIN IT!
Required Entry: Check out ASTRA’s Best Toys for Kids and leave a comment sharing the toy on the list that you think your child would most enjoy.
Optional Entries:
1. Subscribe to my blog. You can subscribe by RSS or by email and get daily updates right to your email inbox!
2. Follow me on Twitter! (Leave me your Twitter handle and I’ll be sure to follow you back!!)
3. Give yourself another entry if you’re a subscriber to my monthly email newsletter.
4. Follow @TheWoohooFactor on Twitter.
GOOD LUCK!!!
Fine Print: Winner must have a U.S. mailing address. I will use the And The Winner Is plugin for WordPress to randomly select a winner on November 1, 2012. When the comments are closed on this post, you will know the giveaway is over. I will announce the winner on Facebook and Twitter, and I will send a personal email, giving the winner three days to accept. If there is no reply, I will select another winner. See my Giveaway Policies for more details.

Thanks for the heads up on ASTRA! I am not familiar with them and I have loads of children to buy for (birthdays AND Christmas) so I will definitely check them out!
(Also, I subscribe to your blog. And love it!)
This looks like so much fun and that site is very useful even for someone whose kids are grown now. I have friends that have children having babies now so this is a great resource to go to.
Do not add my name to the giveaway I have no kiddies to share this with – at least not yet!

Feed the Woozle game is what I am most interested in for my twin daughters. Since they are together so much, it is nice to have a game option that is cooperative rather than competitive.
OOh we got the Perplexus at the Toy & Game Fair last year in Chicago and then ended up buying more as gifts for Christmas because it was so great- would LOVE to check out the Perplexus Twist!

Even though I’ve already commented (and I follow your blog) just wanted to say that I was wondering what to get for my grandson’s 2 year birthday. I went to the ASTRA list and found the “Play and Roll” game. I purchased it and I think he’ll love it. Thanks for the help!
Awesome! Looks like the perfect gift for an active 2-year-old.
