Valentine’s Day is JUST around the corner, and while some may scoff at the Hallmark holidays, I figure that setting aside a day to tell your loved ones how much you appreciate them can’t possibly be a bad idea. Besides, I’m certainly not one to turn down chocolate and flowers!
Of course, if you’re one of those who always forgets about these arbitrary holidays until the last minute, and then find yourself in the doghouse by a certain someone, you might have developed a bit of animosity about them over the years. Never fear. I’m here to help! I’m giving you plenty of advance notice and a list of fun ideas for everyone on your list.
If you aren’t the one who tends to get caught unprepared, feel free to send this post along to your significant other. Sometimes they just need a little nudge.

My favorite idea on your list is the potted rose plant. However, I am consistent in my ability to kill all plants but a cactus, so it likely wouldn’t last long around my house.
