7 {Gluten Free} OSCARS® Party Recipes

There is a certain, ahem, motion picture awards show coming up (on Sunday night, February 24, if you’re wondering.) Are you planning to watch?

I was never a big awards show watcher until it became such a huge Twitter event. Now I love watching the awards shows and seeing everyone’s commentary in real time, and I’m looking forward to Sunday night.

I’m all about the dresses, I won’t lie, but I’m still curious to see who wins even though I probably haven’t seen half the movies in contention. I have, however, seen Lincoln and Les Miserables.

I’m really hoping that Lincoln gets the OSCAR® for Best Picture, although my vote goes to Hugh Jackman for Best Leading Actor in his role in Les Mis. And if Anne Hathaway doesn’t take Best Supporting Actress, I’ll eat my favorite pair of shoes. You heard it here first. (Go here to see all the 2013 OSCAR® Nominees, but I’m warning you, if you start watching the trailers, you might find that you’re still watching an hour later… hypothetically speaking, of course.)

I’ll be sure to post a recap on Monday of all my favorite outfits. But for now, I have been collecting some fun party recipes to share with you. If you plan to host a viewing party or even if you just want to have a little snack while you follow along on Twitter, you should find some great ideas here!

Truthfully, I just wanted an excuse to try out this new slideshow plugin that my friend, Teresa Olvera, was so kind to help me install! See what you think!!
