I haven’t done one of these posts in AGES, but I came across a few good articles this week and I wanted to share them with you. I hope you take the time to read them.
Parents: A Word About Instagram :: Life as of Late
There is so much information out there about internet safety and you should definitely read up on that, but that’s not what I want to talk about.
Over the past several months, I’ve been noticing some interesting stuff on Instagram from your kids that I want to share with you.
Excellent article that everyone with a child on Instagram should read.
It Matters Whom You Marry :: The Christian Pundit
True, there are no perfect men out there. But there are great ones. And it’s better to be single for life than to marry someone who will make your life a burden.
My husband sent this article to me, and I thought it was bang on. I often think about how hard marriage is and how it is almost impossible to know what you’re getting into (and I have it good, people!!) IThere are SO many things you can’t predict — about life circumstances, of course, but also about how the person you marry will react to those circumstances. I was very serious about choosing who I married, but so many women aren’t. This is an article I’d like to share with every young unmarried woman I know.
How To Be A Good Mom :: Adventures in Babywearing
Bring a snack in the car when you pick them up from school because one of them you know the one will be ravenous and about to flip his lid if he doesn’t eat something the very second the bell rings (unless his friends are playing on the playground then here’s my backpack smell ya later, mom.)
Cuddle and snuggle and snuggle some more. Sing them a song but only when the radio isn’t on. Then Mom, please don’t sing along.
I love this. So much simple wisdom in this heartfelt post. Steph is one of my blogging heros. She’s a poignant writer, a thoughtful mother and an artistic photographer. If you aren’t reading her blog, you should be.
