BOOT SALE!! Macy’s & The Walking Company

An email from Macy’s just landed in my inbox, announcing that their boot sale ends tonight.

Boot Sale? Yes please!!

I was just at Macy’s last week, trying on boots, as a matter of fact! I fell in love with these Lucky Brand Nalah Booties in Brindle. Unfortunately they don’t have enough cushion in the heel for my finicky feet so I didn’t bring them home.

My friend Grace fared better than I. She scored these Novah Boots with a gift card she’s been hoarding since last Christmas. These are totally her style. LOVE them on her.

Alas, none of the Lucky Brand boots are part of Macy’s current boot sale. But they have a ton of nice classic styles on sale if you’re in the market. Here are some suggestions.

The Walking Company is also running a boot sale right now, and they’re offering FREE 2nd Day Shipping on all boots too!

I’m a recent convert to The Walking Company because my finicky feet have forced me to start looking for shoes that offer a lot of support and cushion, but naturally I want them to be cute.

These are a few I have my eye on.

I really, really want a biker boot, but I’m not sure I’m cool enough to pull them off. These Tara M. Tabitha boots look like they would offer the comfort and support I need, and they’re not super edgy, right?? They’re $139  marked down from $180.

Perhaps the Tara M. Tiffany is a better choice for this suburban housewife. They’re $129 marked down from $170.

Even UGGs are on sale.

You’ve never known cozy comfort till you’ve worn UGGs. Unfortunately they don’t have the support or cushion in the heel I need right now, but if you have someone in your life with UGGs on her Christmas list, here’s your chance because UGGs rarely go on sale.

The Haywell is an awesome casual brown boot for fall and winter. It comes in black, brownstone and chocolate, and it’s marked down from $250 to $199.

And omigosh, I am in LOVE with the Umberto Raffini Signature Joelle. What a gorgeous boot. At $199 (down from $260), it’s certainly not cheap, but this is a boot you could wear for years. “The upper is crafted with fine leather and the shaft features Sorona suede by Drilex™ linings. The footbed is contoured, cushioned, and lined in soft, sheep glove leather for true comfort, and the leather and rubber sole provides exceptional flexibility.” And wedge heels work really well for me right now. This boot is going on my Christmas wish list stat.

Finally, if you’re in the market for a classic riding boot, the Umberto Raffini Lorna is marked down from $240 to $159, and it’s gorgeous. This classic style will be in your closet for 10 years.

How about you? Are boots your love language? Which ones are you crushing on?

If you’re thinking about making a purchase, the sale prices are good through Sunday, November 3rd. And free 2-day shipping to boot!

Hahaha… boot. I slay me.

I’m a runner, too, and have dealt with plantar fasciitis. I used heel seats from heel-that-pain.com and really
Irked them. They gave me the support many of my shoes lacked – I would just move them from shoe to shoe, even my running shoes. PF never goes away from what I’ve learned, but I’ve learned the early signs of flare ups and am able to keep it at bay for the most part. Now if I could just shake this runner’s knee pain…..

Do they slip around? I picked up some at CVS and they slip around and don’t really help matters. :-( I would REALLY love to find something that I can put in my shoes b/c replacing them is $$$$ and I like them! :-)

LOL! I got more GC’s to spend! Thank you so much for helping me pick! I LOVE the boots, the leather is super soft and they are really comfortable.

I finally got brave/desperate enough to go in off a cortisone shot. Wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be, and it almost entirely got rid of the pain. Going in for a second one Friday to see if it will eradicate it entirely.
