Sterling_2Sterling Vineyards has just  introduced two organic grape wines ($12.99)–a 2007 Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.  Available only at Whole Foods and Safeway Stores, these wines are made with organic grapes grown without artificial fertilizers or synthetic chemicals.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to taste test since they were unable to ship to PA, but here is what they say about the flavors.

Chardonnay Tasting Notes: The wine is clear pale gold with aromas of green apple and stone fruit, and subtle notes of vanilla and baking spices.  Pairs well with various cheeses, grilled fish , chicken, quiche and pasta with clam sauce.

Sauvignon Blanc Tasting Notes: The wine is a clear pale straw color and offers aromas of lime, guava and a hint of fig.  The wine lingers and pairs well with various cheeses, ceviche, sushi and pastas Alfredo or primavera.
