Happy Hump Day! You know what that means… it’s time for another edition of Daily Mom Style. It’s that time of year where things start to get a bit stale. I’ve showed many of the same clothes many times over. So I thought it might be fun to do a blog swap with another fashion blogger.

Cyndi at Walking in Grace & Beauty is one of my favorite style bloggers, and we have pretty similar fashion tastes so I thought it might be fun to swap places this week. I actually got to meet her a few years ago at a blogging conference, and we made fast friends. She’s as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside, and I think you’ll enjoy her post today. With that, I’ll turn it over to Cyndi!

Daily Mom Style with Cyndi

Hi there! I’m Cyndi from Walking in Grace & Beauty. I’m thrilled to be guest posting for Jo-Lynne today. I met Jo-Lynne a few years ago at a blogging conference called Blissdom. Since then, I’ve been a follower and a fan of her blog. I love her fashion sense!

Now, a little bit about me. I’m a forty something pastor’s wife who happens to love fashion. We have two grown children and a two year old grandson that has stolen our hearts.

Walking in Grace & Beauty

I started blogging in 2009 after my Mom passed away. She is the one who inspired me to start a blog!

I love to share tips on fashion, make-up, and beauty, as well as reminders that true beauty begins on the inside. I love early mornings and coffee. I’m on a quest to be healthier by exercising, “clean” eating, and I’m a huge believer in essential oils.

Wednesdays are my most popular posts at Walking in Grace & Beauty. I share outfits that are “normal” everyday outfits. I would describe my style as classic with some pops of the latest trends.

Here are some of my favorite looks over the last several months.

I love scarves! I wear them all the time and especially this time of the year when the weather is cold.

I noticed a few years ago that I was wearing a lot of black and white. I’ve made an effort to add color to my wardrobe.

(In case you haven’t heard of Stitch Fix, is a personal styling service and has helped me add some great pieces to my wardrobe. If you’re looking for some help with your wardrobe, Stitch Fix is a great place to start.)

One of the things I share on my blog is adding basic wardrobe pieces that you can mix and match. My chambray shirt is one of those basic pieces I wear all the time. Here I’ve paired it with a gray shirt and skinny jeans.

Another basic piece is the little black dress. I love to style it different ways. In this outfit, I added some color by adding a red scarf.

There’s rarely a week that goes by that I don’t wear something leopard. It’s a classic look and I love to add it to my outfits.

Well, that’s some of the outfits you’ll find over at Walking in Grace & Beauty. I would love for you to stop by and say hello!

Thank you Jo-Lynne for allowing me to introduce myself to your readers! Have a blessed day!

I love reading Cyndi’s blog. She was one of the people who inspired me to start my own blog. It is so nice to see that women over 40 can dress chic and not appear to be dressing like a teen! Great post! Susan

LOVE! Super idea to do a blog swap though I never get tired of your weekly outfits! I love how she phrased her style…classic with pops of tendy….I’m pretty sure that totally describes me too!

Fiiiiinally catching up on my blog reading – great for a cold, blustery Saturday, right? ;-)

So… I was just wondering whether y’all (Jo-Lynne & Cyndi) want to be my personal fashion consultants. Because really?? Dream come true!! :-D
