Noonday *GIVEAWAY*

This giveaway is closed! The winning number, according to Random.org, is #27.  Congratulations, Carrie!!!

My friend Missy turned me on to these awesome accessories by Noonday Collection. The owner, Jessica Honegger, will use the proceeds to fund her adoption from Rwanda.  Read her story; it truly is inspiring.

All of the accessories at Noonday are made by oppressed women around the world. Most of them work with missionaries who are helping them come out of prostitution or become financially independent. Please know that I am receiving no compensation or incentives for posting about this. It is simply something I want to share because I believe in the cause.

Here’s the formal spiel:

The Noonday Collection offers fashion forward accessories for you and your home handcrafted by artisans from around the world that receive a living wage for their work. Every item is handcrafted in style, with love, and creates a pathway out of poverty for artisans around the world. Proceeds go towards placing an orphan in a forever family.

Take a look.  Everything they make is gorgeous.

Thanks for the great giveaway! All of the items are lovely, although I would choose the scarf. Even though we woke to mid 30′s here in Southwest Florida this morning, I am not much of a hat person! Have a terrific Christmas!

I would pick the scarf too. I like cotton. I saw similar bracelets at the gift shop at Hennings and bought them to give as a gift. Love to support these wonderful artisans!

I love the scarf, too. I think I gravitated to it because it is so chilly today!
On their site there is another one I like, looks like a chain, very unique.

Hard to pick, I like the scarf or hat. Such a great cause and great story. I will have to bookmark it for future presents! Thanks!

What a neat story-I’m definitely going to be checking out her site! I just loved the scarf, would make such a neat addition to my new-found obsession with wearing scarves with so many of my outfits. I appreciate your write up on such a worthwhile situation.

I love the “Fiesta Necklace” on their website. What beautiful talent these women have. Thank you for sharing this story.

Since I live in the cold rocky mountains a hat is always apart of my outfit this time of year and I only have one that I love but my hubby hates! I would love a new hat!

The charcoal hand warmers would be a great gift for my sister this year. I think I’ll go back to browse more-I may check some others off my list! Thanks, JoLynne!

These items are gorgeous and I love the idea behind them. I have a hard time deciding between the alpaca hat and the scarf. But I think I would have to go with the scarf.

  12. Allison says

I love the bracelet, but think the scarf is much more practical. I bought one of the recycled magazine necklaces at a local fundraiser and it is beautiful. Great quality for the price. I love this concept.

  13. Molly says

Found you thru my friend Becca at Our Crazy Boys; I “liked” you on FB–and would pick the hat if I won. Thanks!

I have never heard of arm warmers! That is exactly what I need. My arm lays across a very cold metal desk while I am on the computer and my right arm/hand are always freezing!

  15. Nell says

    beautiful!

i’d probably choose the scarf. i dont look good in hats and the gloves are AWESOME but too trendy (not sure that is even the word i’m looking for) for me.

I would choose the gloves… perfect for covering my hands from winter cold, but still be able to buckle up car seats = perfect!
